At 19, I began to realize that there was more to life than the constant hustle and pursuit of achievements that I was accustomed to. Diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, I was struggling with depression and severe anxiety. This period marked a turning point in my life as I started to explore the profound connection between our external environment and our internal well-being.
Through guidance from health coaches, chiropractors, and extensive reading, I discovered that our lifestyle choices—such as diet, personal care products, and even the air we breathe—significantly impact our health. I began making subtle changes in my diet, movement practices, and the products I used daily, and soon, I started to feel better.
My journey led me back to school, where I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became a certified health coach. I learned that toxins aren’t just in our food and environment but also in our relationships and financial stressors, which can significantly affect our health. Delving deeper, I studied the nervous system and discovered the importance of maintaining a balanced, calm state to support healing and overall well-being.
During this time, I also learned about the Shaklee Corporation and began incorporating their non-toxic personal care, household cleaning products, and supplements into my life. The positive changes were remarkable, not just for me but for my entire family. We experienced increased energy, fewer headaches, and improved overall health.
Now, as a passionate advocate for holistic health, I am dedicated to creating a safe space at The Pillar Yoga and Wellness where I can share this journey with you. My mission is to help you become the best version of yourself by nurturing your mind, body, and spirit through mindful practices, education, and a supportive community. Together, we can cultivate a life of balance, connection, and vibrant health.
